As the name might suggest, this delicious cocktail was indeed created in the (early) 20th Century. The recipe was first published in 1937 in William J Tarling’s ‘Café Royal Cocktail Book‘ and though it may not be seen all that readily on today’s cocktail menus, it is certainly one worth adding to your personal cocktail repertoire. 20ml Creme De Cacao (Fair Cacao)
20ml Lillet Blanc
10ml fresh Lemon juice
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain in to a coupette and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
