If there is one drink which best embodies the cocktail revolution that we have seen over the last twenty years or so it would be the late Dick Bradsell’s Espresso Martini - a drink so perfect its a miracle nobody thought of it before. Once a sort of secret handshake between London's bartending and media sets, it is now one of the most popular drinks in so many countries around the world. In our take, Jake has built complexity into the drink by using the same flavour but supplied by different elements - so the coffee flavour comes from our Toasted Coffee Bean Vodka; a rich & creamy spirit with intense coffee notes, and we have introduced just a tiny hint of vanilla for a little more nuance.
25mls Borghetti Coffee Liqueur
15mls Vanille de Madagascar Liqueur
25mls Fresh Espresso Coffee
5mls sugar syrup (optional)
Shake all ingredients with ice hard and strain into a Nick & Nora glass and garnish with a few coffee beans.
